Kou Uraki
After graduating from the Federation's military academy, this young officer is stationed
at the Torrington base in Australia as a test pilot - an assignment which amounts to little more than serving as a moving
target in combat simulations. But when enemy ace Anavel Gato attacks Torrington base with the GP02A, Kou attempts
to stop him with the prototype Gundam GP01. Feeling responsible for the loss of GP02, Kou vowed to return the stolen
Gundam. The Albion set off in persuit of Anaval taking Kou along with them. The Albion continued to pursuit Gato,
until they had to travel into space. At the point, Kou had learn new skills as he addapted to combat in an environment
which lacked gravity.
Kou began to fall in love with Nina Purpleton who was in charge of developing the GP01 and GP02A.
However, he was unaware of her past relationship with Anaval Gato. Farther into time, Kou's hatred for Gato intensified
as he learned of this himself.
