As the senior pilot at the Federation's Torrington base, Burning supervises the testing of
new equipment and acts a mentor to the inexperienced Kou and Chuck. After the theft of the Gundam GP02A, he joins the crew
of the Albion as mobile suit company commander. Though Burning is a clever and skilled pilot, he is gradually slowing down
due to the effects of age.
